Patricia McCallion, who owns her own hair and beauty salon in Waterloo Street, agreed to be stripped of her make-up and lashes to take part in ‘Pretty Single’ which airs on Monday. Mum-of-one and self-confessed romantic, Patricia admits she hides her true self behind make-up to boost her confidence.

Irish sheep farmer to take on BBC dating show
BBC Three are looking for nosy singletons to take part in an exciting new dating show, which sounds a little like Through The Keyhole meets Blind Date. Each episode begins with Yung Filly showing one singleton a possession owned by five potential dates, helping them to build a first impression of each person and whittle the options down to three. With the host acting as their trusted wingman, contestants will go through the keyhole, into the drawers and under the bed to discover as much as they can about each potential date by looking at how they live.
They will ultimately choose two to keep in the running. Once the snooping is over, there are bound to be as many questions as there are answers, and to help with the final decision there will be an opportunity to meet the person closest to each of the remaining love rivals.

The aim of the programme is to set up people living in rural isolation with urbanites, with the hopes of them falling madly in love. He is also the twin brother of a man previously featured as part of our Young Farmer Series, Jonathan Kelly. Eoin admitted to finding it difficult in his search for love, due in part to the sheep shearers and farmers busy lifestyle. Although busy, Eoin truly loves what he does and after having some fun, he thinks now is the time to make a move on love. You do it for the love of the animals. I have enjoyed myself. Eoin is looking for a girl who is not afraid to get her hands dirty, joking that he will even buy the right girl a pair of wellies.
His friends say the perfect woman for Eoin would be someone who is full of chat and basically a female version of himself. Will Eoin find love? The series is due to be released imminently so tune into BBC Two to find out!
